Secretary/Head of HR
Paris D.
Paris Davis, a born and raised Denver, Colorado native has soared through the banking industry for the past twelve years. Her profession is managing risk in a high-risk niche market. Faithful to her mentorship and sisterhood, she is both the head of Human Resources and a member of the DAWN Board, which is an inner-city mentoring organization. Paris may be a compliance animal by day, but she is also the owner and CEO of The Vision LLC, which is an event planning and management company, making her a party animal by night. Her greatest emphasis is on community and she has volunteered her time with many youth organizations in the Denver metro area for the last six years. Paris values not only bringing smiles to peoples’ faces, but also creating treasured memories for those around her. In her free time, she is most likely traveling, crafting, or enjoying time with her family and friends. “Honor your calling. Everyone has one. Mentor
Tania A.
Tania has been a member of DAWN since it's inception. She has a passion for giving back to our youth. She truly enjoys being able to plant positive seeds into the next generation, and encouraging others along the way. As a mental health counselor, Tania knows all too well the issues facing our youth today. Frederick Douglass showed us his profound insight when he said "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." These are words that Tania lives by everyday, in both her professional and personal life. Tania is a wife, and devout mother to four phenomenal children; three girls and a boy on the way, as well as step mother to two remarkable young adults. In her free time, she enjoys sports (especially basketball), singing, praying, event planning, watching movies, and spending time with family. Her favorite color is yellow, signifying she has a sunny disposition, cheerful personality, and is fun to be around. You can almost ALWAYS find her somewhere laughing.
When she's not busy being an introvert of course.

Mentor
Takia D.
Hello! My name is Takia Doublin and I am a proud Denver native. From an early age, I've had a strong passion to aid and encourage others. I believe compassion, the will to help, and supporting one another is the foundation of a thriving society/community.
I pride myself in being very hard working, balancing work and school. After being labeled a college dropout, I became very hard on myself for what "should have been". But I do not regret my journey. I'm proud to say I'm currently on the road to finishing my bachelor's degree, majoring in criminal justice with an emphasis/concentration on social work. Making the Dean's List last Spring semester was a major proud moment for me (adding to the list of honorary mentions). I strive daily to reach many goals beyond my studies. I'm also an all around pretty fun, easy-going woman!
I want to share my battles and insecurities in hopes that a younger person can avoid missing major opportunities as I did. At the same time, also share my accomplishments, wisdom, and optimistic mindset. Being able to guide and keep a young person accountable of their personal goals is an honor. Most importantly, I want to grow, bond, and learn from my mentee. I hope to be a source to confide to. Becoming a mentor is humbling and rewarding on both ends. D.A.W.N is phenomenal!!
